In the cloud you can find Software as service - SaaS- and Platforms as Service.
There are a lot of applications that you can use for free and some trial versions you can try. Some are totally online , so you don't have to download anything into your computer, nor bother with complicated processes of installing programs. An good exemple of software as service is Zoho. With it you can everything you need, publish and share with you friends or colleagues.

What is "the cloud"?
Which are its main advantages? Listen to this recording in one of my favourite recording apps and find out:
Which are the most obvious disadvantages? Do you use it? Which apps and services do you use? Share your ideas and applications you use with your friends. Present tools that you can use to work, share, acess information online. Here are some of my favourites: animoto What does it do? Animation of photos.
This is great for your photos and for small presentations. You can include music and many frames. It's great for story telling too.
Another cool tool is go animate With this you can create little videos. And also make short presentations using story telling techniques.
